Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

[Imagine this performed on stage as a theatrical ritual piece. Chicken embodies the oracle, and the Questioner is their attendant. The audience are the seekers of knowledge.]

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see a Spider, weaving her web of connection, and tensions, and the way she feels the breezes.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see the fire, burning in the hearth, keeps the center, cooks the food, warms the people
Tame, safe little fire…

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see the fire, burning in the factory, consume consume consume, work work work, automated, artificial, human machines manufacturing synthesized life. Telling us that this is how to be free.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see the cycles, the systems, the flowing of the water, disrupted, bottled, broken, caged.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see my people, bloated and sick, product inside the machine, automated, synthesized, people living in rows upon rows upon rows, one shitting on top of another, blind and featherless, feeding the machine.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

Zombies everywhere, the living dead, the undead, these animals in cubes, trying to preserve themselves, trying to live forever, forgot how to be free.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see a monster, feeding on thee.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see people, yearning to be free, chains made of bureaucracy, bonds made of debt, blinders made of lies.

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see a choice, I see two paths.
Down one lies destruction, everlasting death. Plage, disease, extinction.
Down th’ other lies redemption, remembering, healing, work, re-assembling, re-patterning, re-planting, planting trees, planting trees, planting trees and letting them be, letting things be, let it be, let it be, let it be, oh let it be, whisper words of wisdom, let it beee.e.e.eee
The Forest is your Salvation: diversity, novelty, cooperation, coordination, interdependance

Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, what do you See?

I see spider, weaving her web. She is teaching the children how to remember to be free.

The end.

[but seriously people, if we destroy the forests, we are all going to die]
